YOUTH
Through tailor-made educational programs we seek to engage and inspire local youth by teaching them about their local marine and terrestrial ecosystems, and the environmental issues and solutions linked to them. Both our outdoor and in-class curriculum help them understand native biodiversity, raise awareness of ancestral conservation practices like Rāhui, and show them ways to reduce their impact on these ecosystems through their everyday choices. In addition, we seek to introduce them to the official regulations of Polynesia and specific to the island. These programs aim to foster the "Island Protectors" of the future.
EDUCATIONAL OUTINGS
Extra-curricular exploration outings in the forest and in the ocean are offered to children so they can discover, understand, and learn to care about the biodiversity that surrounds them.
EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS
Our educational workshops offer interactive activities designed to engage and inspire local youth about importance of respecting their environment.
classroom
engagement
Our in-class education programs integrate learning about the island's ecosystem, local environmental issues, and traditional conservation methods like Rāhui into our children's classroom curriculum.
